Beaumont Machine FH Series are the most advance EDM systems manufactured today. We have enhancements to fit our machines, "TO YOUR NEEDS."

Diffuser Shape Technology - Diffused holes created with our patented two-step process. First the cooling holes are drilled; then the diffuser electrode is retrieved by the tool changer and inserted into the electrode holder. The electrode is shaped using a built in electrode dresser programmed to generate the correctly sized diffuser dimension on the electrode. The machine then retraces the initial hole installation path to install each diffuser in the correct location. The "Z" axis actually uses an encoded servo to deliver the 6th axis that is required to position the diffuser in the correct attitude relative to the surface of the part.

Reverse Polarity Electrode Dresser - For dressing and flattening the end of electrodes during use in blind holes requiring flat bottoms or little room for breakthrough.

Breakthrough Detection - Closely watches real time sampling of the drilling process data. A significant change in this sampling indicates breakthrough. When breakthrough is detected, "Z" axis is reversed to eliminate backwall strikes.

Robotic Tool Changer (RTC) - A 24 station tool changer that uses a Fanuc LR Mate Robot with a two-position end effector to change up to 18 electrodes and 6 guides. Our RTC is supplied with a full compliment of electrode collets and guides. This system will use the standard GE Fanuc tool management software.

Machine Enclosure - Table guard and full enclosure are available. Full enclosure necessary with Robot Tool Changer (RTC).

Rotary Tables Beaumont Machine offers both: Peiseler and Troyke rotary tables  INA Bearing, a preloaded axial/radial bearing - reduces wobble.  Holroyd and/or Ott gear set - used inside our rotary tables, this gear set makes for extreme accuracy with no cogging.  Heidenhain scales (optional) - some of the most accurate scales available.  Nickel plated - extremely rust resistant with (optional) Heidenhain scales.  Internal plumbing - Erowa Chuck - plumbing for pneumatic chuck that holds the work piece.

Unigraphics Post Processor - A communication/translation software package that converts UG versions 17 & 18 or similar design program language into "m & g"

Workpiece Positioning Probe - Developed to check position of parts due to changes in castings or part tolerances. Our probe makes a one point shift in the controller due to feedback of the probe.

Turnkeys - Available on all applications big and small. We have full capability from start to finish, whether your part is complicated or simple.

Training - is one of the cornerstones of a successful installation. Even a knowledgeable machine operator can feel threatened by a new CNC machine. Every facility is different. You are the best judge of the conditions that exist in your facility. Additional training is available. Training can be purchased in half-day increments. Travel and other expenses will be billed separately and are not included in our additional training rate.
